The Buffalo Bills defeated the surprising Kansas City Chiefs, 27-21. In the first half, the Chiefs seemed on route to an easy win. RB Jamal Charles was having an easy time carving up the Bills run defense, and QB Cassell was making the right throws at the perfect time. Add the great and hard hitting defense and the Chiefs built themselves a 21-3 lead by half-time. In the second half, the 4-time Super Bowl champion coach brought the team together and inspired a great effort from his team. Aided by inaccurate throws by Cassell and unfortunate and ill-timed personal foul penalties by the Chiefs, the Bills had a 27-21 lead late in the 4th. The Chiefs had one more drive to find a game-winning TD but the Bills defense, who came alive in the 2nd half, picked Cassell off yet again to seal a Super Bowl birth. Congratulations to the Chiefs for a great season. If they can find and upgrade at QB every NFL team better watch out. Which of the mighty NFC opponents will the Bills have to face in the SB? Eagles or Cowboys? If only we could watch such a match-up live.
